Bacon-Wrapped Mozzarella Cheese

Mozzarella im Schinkenmantel
  • Zutaten

4 Mozzarella balls
8 large slices Parma ham
16 sage leaves
Pfeffer
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons olive oil
salt, freshly ground pepper
1/2 bunch rocket salad

  • Zubereitung

Drain mozzarella and cut in halves. Place one sage leaf on each slice of Parma ham and sprinkle with pepper. Place one mozzarella ball onto it and wrap with the ham.
For the marinade mix mustard, vinegar, 3 tablespoons oil and 3 tablespoons water. Sesaon to taste with salt and pepper. Wash and dry rocket salad.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Place ham-cheese rolls in the pan with the seam side down and fry for 2 minutes, turn and fry for another 2 minutes. Take rolls out, fry 8 sage leaves, garnish rolls with them. Drizzle rocket salad with the marinade and serve with the rolls.
