200 g whole wheat flour
3 eggs
60 ml tepid water
1 tablespoons oil
1 pinch salt
5 apples
8 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons washed raisins
4 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
one lemon juice
4 tablespoons honey
150 g sour cream
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs

  • Zubereitung

Take a large bowl, mix the milk together with one egg, tepid water, oil and salt and combine until smooth. Allow to rest for one hour.
Pare, core and dice apples into small cubes.
Heat 3 tablespoons butter and braise apples for 2-3 minutes. Add nuts and raisins. Mix lemon juice with honey, sour cream, two eggs and add to the apples. Put a cloth on a work surface, sprinkle with flour, roll out dough until paper thin, using the back of your hands. Spread breadcrumbs onto the dough first and then the filling. Leave a rim around the dough. Roll in strudel by lifting and rolling the cloth and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Melt 5 tablespoons butter and brush the strudel; Preheat the oven to 180° C and bake for about 30 minutes. Brush with melted butter time and again while baking.
